FIVA A-event. The event had a good publicitiy and the start of the event was on the famous Red Square in Moscow. The route linked famous places of unique architectural and historical heritage of Russia. „Golden ring“ connects roads of ancient capitals of Russia into a symbolic ring and together the towns are united into the Russian culture treasure.

42 teams participated on the event driving cars made between 1925 and 1978. The whole event covered approximately 1350 km in 4 legs. The organiser prepared the rally very professionally. Not only check-ups at the start and at the end of the legs, but well chosen places for lunch breaks and coffee-stops as well as a luxury accommodation during the event made it very comfortable.

If you would like to see the untouched Russian countryside with a bit of adventure, the next edition of the Golden Ring Rally as a FIVA A-event will take place between July 8th and 11, 2011.
